Comprehensive maintenance of the SWEZ systems in ZUS

The largest project for support, maintenance and completion of service requests for the Company Economics Support System SWEZ (in Polish: System Wspomagania Ekonomiki Zakładu). Servicing of more than 30 SAP systems, the ongoing maintenance works, and a number of additional services with the general purpose of optimizing business processes in ZUS.

The model of operational maintenance of the SWEZ includes both, the technical issues of the SWEZ application and the business related field. Expectations of the Client are focused on the support services of the SWEZ maintenance and on ensuring the continuous operation of the platform within all the systems it consists of. 

 

Information about the project

 

The project will be implemented over the next three years. During this period, the KBJ will provide:

  • comprehensive maintenance of the SWEZ systems,
  • required work in response to service requests - registration, classification, identification of an Incident causes, submitting the diagnosis results, providing a solution, supervision of the solution implementation for removing the error effects, and preparing and upgrading documentation (Encompassing: project, installation-configuration, administration and exploitation),
  • ongoing support for end users -  ensuring continuous operation of the SWEZ within all systems it consists of, both, operational and non-operational, and interfaces between the SWEZ and the external systems on the defined level, and support in activities related to SAP systems administration, data bases and interfaces,
  • completion of additional orders – support and exploitation (In the areas of: SWEZ administration, current, and implemented during the period of contract, new SAP modules, workshops in the field of SAP for the defined groups of users).

 

Within the project, there are also a number of new tasks performed for the purpose of optimization of the SAP system processes taking place in ZUS. 

 

Main Business Objectives

 

The main purpose of the maintenance and support services for the SWEZ, and of the handling of the SWEZ Services Requests, is to ensure the operational functioning of the SWEZ environment, in the area of all systems it consists of, both, operational and non-operational, together with the interfaces between the SWEZ the external systems.

While the purpose of the services in the field of completion of additional orders, is to ensure the SWEZ operation at the level allowing to perform the ZUS business tasks at the required level.
