First in Poland for implementation of Strategy Management, with the use of the newest SAP technologies. Innovative solution for strategic management allows to monitor in real time 400 KPI's in several dozens of companies of the PGNiG Group of Companies, support for planning processes, and evaluation and reckoning of the MBO.
The KBJ Company, together with the SAP Poland, has implemented the Management by Objectives (MBO) processes, on the basis of the functionality of the SAP Business Objects Strategy Management for the company of PGNIG S.A..
Implementation included the company headquarters, its branches, as well as the total of 40 of other organizational units. The project included over 150 Target Documents (in Polish: Karty Celów, or KC), directed to the persons holding management positions in the Group of Companies.
Within the project's scope we have implemented a comprehensive solution supporting strategic management in the Group of Companies, allowing the efficient use of the Management by Objectives (MBO). The system supports all the required for the MBO economic processes, i.e. planning, tracking, sourcing of execution data, monitoring and settling accounts.
During the implementation, there were over 400 indicators defined, which were built from complex components. Each indicator could include from 1 to N components, and the overall calculation of the indicator's value was possible with the application of any mathematical operation.
The idea for the project was extension of the SAP HR system with handling of the Management by Objectives (MBO) processes on the basis of the standard functionality of SAP Strategy Management, for the PGNiG headquarters, its branches, and the selected companies from the Group of Companies.

As the result of our work the Client has gained full functionality of the system and the possibility to efficiently complete the processes assigned to particular employees. Implementation of the new processes has also contributed to the increased efficiency of planning processes, possibility of continuous monitoring of data entered from a variety of sources, and better efficacy of the yearly evaluation process.
Integration of the external systems: The implemented solution was integrated and draws data from the corporate Data Warehouse (SAP BW), system for financial planning (Hyperion), flat files and the SAP ERP system.
