For existing customers: If you are already using SAP Datasphere or SAC under existing agreements such as Business Technology Platform Enterprise Agreement (BTPEA), Cloud Platform Enterprise Agreement (CPEA), or Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG), you may continue using the services under current terms. However, please note that any license extensions or new purchases after the mentioned date will likely fall under the new BDC model.

Upcoming Updates to Watch For

Significant enhancements are planned around the turn of 2025/2026, particularly in the area of Seamless Planning (described below). Moreover, after Q2 2026, some older methods of creating reports and planning applications in SAC may become unavailable.
